When you are moving furniture there are a number of complications that can arise. Moving large pieces of furniture poses a risk of injury to yourself and others. This will save your back and if you do happen to brush up against a wall or doorway the chances of damage are lower because the individual pieces are not as heavy. This can be especially helpful when furniture is too big to fit through a doorway or around a corner.
